Rick Johnson – Owner
Rick Johnson and co-owner Tim Tomlinson played a pivotal role as founding members of Gear Cleaning Solutions. With over 25 years of experience in the fire service, Mr. Johnson currently holds the position of Captain at the Town of Addison Fire Department in Addison, Texas
In his capacity at Gear Cleaning Solutions, Rick is responsible for establishing and maintaining solid relationships between the Fire Department and the company. He has also played an instrumental role in educating and assisting with implementing several NFPA 1851 programs across the United States. He is a voting member on the NFPA 1850/1970 Structural and Proximity Fire Fighting Protective Clothing and Equipment Technical Committee and Technical Correlating Committee.
Rick will be your go-to contact person for all matters related to the company, including general queries, new accounts, and the setup of contracts. Tim Tomlinson – Owner
Tim Tomlinson, together with co-owner Rick Johnson, was a founding member of Gear Cleaning Solutions. With 20 years of experience in the fire service, Mr. Tomlinson’s journey began in California. He currently serves as a Fire Equipment Operator (Driver) for the Town of Addison Fire Department in Addison, Texas, where he is also the PPE officer.
At Gear Cleaning Solutions, Tim maintains strong relationships with vendors and manufacturers, quality assurance, technical support, and warranty programs. He also provides essential administrative support to the company’s operations. In his capacity, Tim currently serves as the Chairman of the NFPA 1851/1971 Technical Committee on Structural and Proximity Fire Fighting Protective Clothing and Equipment, as well as the Technical Correlating Committee on Fire and Emergency Services Protective Clothing and Equipment.
Tim will be your go-to contact person at Gear Cleaning Solutions if you have any technical inquiries or require warranty support.
